1. Introduction

At The Emporium Discount, we take the security of your personal and financial information very seriously. We are committed to providing a safe, secure, and reliable online shopping experience for all our customers. This Security Policy outlines the measures we take to protect your data.

2. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Technology

Our website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to establish a secure, encrypted connection between your web browser and our servers. This ensures that all sensitive data (such as your name, address, and credit card details) is fully encrypted and protected from interception while in transit over the internet.

You can verify our secure connection by looking for the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar and ensuring the URL begins with “https://”.

3. Payment Security & PCI Compliance

We partner with industry-leading, trusted payment gateways (such as Stripe and PayPal) to process all transactions. The Emporium Discount does not store or see your complete credit or debit card numbers. All payment processing is handled on secure, PCI-DSS compliant servers that meet the highest international security standards for financial transactions.

4. Data Protection & Privacy

Your personal information is stored on secure servers protected by advanced firewall systems and strict access controls. We strictly adhere to our Privacy Policy and never sell, trade, or rent your personal information to unauthorized third parties.

5. Customer Security Best Practices

While we do everything on our end to secure your data, security is a shared responsibility. We recommend that you:

• Use a strong, unique password for your account.
• Never share your login credentials with anyone.
• Always log out of your account when using shared or public computers.
